Tuberculosis diagnosed during antiretroviral treatment in an HIV-positive patient that is not receiving anti-tuberculosis treatment when ART is initiated.

Active tuberculosis is diagnosed after initiation of ART; The diagnosis of tuberculosis should fulfil WHO criteria for smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis, smear-negative pulmonary tuberculosis, or extrapulmonary tuberculosis
